innsbruck

For our second stop of the trip we crossed the border from Germany over to Austria into Innsbruck. This place was so lovely. Snow covered mountains surround this quaint little city in all its Austrian glory. We were lucky enough to have got up to the snow while we were there in April because they had been having a late winter, but it was beautiful spring sunny weather - bonus! We headed up the mountain, everyone else with their snow boots on, me with my ver non-waterproof canvas Toms on. I didn't really look the part, but I enjoyed myself anyway. I just had to tip-toe around and try not to fall over. Easy.
