atlantic / new years

Say hello to my new home. For three days. Over new year. And when I say home, I mean rented accommodation. Good enough for me, I'll make myself right at home. We're heading up to Byron Bay for Falls Festival and after a momentary thought that we might rough it and camp onsite, we booked this beauty of a place - The Atlantic. A great decision I think! Not only do I get to see one of my favourite bands (The Wombats, thanks for asking) but we get to come back to this place at the end of each day. I think coming back from the festival to anywhere with hot running water would have been a highlight but this place will be an added bonus.

Plus, it was featured on The Design Files. Is there any higher recommendation?!

If you guys have any tips for what to do in Byron please send them my way - I'd love some ideas.

a hidden pink room

What a delight it would be to have a hot pink room in your house, hidden away behind an unsuspecting white door. I don't think I'd ever get tired of opening the door into this room.

winter warmer

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8

I have been a terrible blogger of late. I've been itching to dedicate some time to ever so pink but life keeps getting in the way. I've just spent the long weekend putting together 175 wedding invites for a friend of mine. It was quite a big job but they turned out perfectly and I know the lovely couple are excited to be sending them out to their loved ones. The invites were a navy and pink combination with a pop of silver on the front. Oh they are so pretty! I look forward to sharing some photos with you soon.

It's well and truly winter now; an extra blanket has been put on the bed and I'm never too far away from my hot water bottle, except for when I'm at work (I'm not too sure it's socially acceptable to have a hot water bottle at work). Hope you're all keeping warm and drinking lots of hot chocolate and snuggling in cable knit blankets.
